  66. ECHO ║                                                                            ║
  67. ECHO ║    Not too long ago, you. B.J. Blazcowictz found out where Satan lived when║
  68. ECHO ║you were wondering through Hell. As he was preparing his troops for Hell On ║
  69. ECHO ║Earth, he left his home, and wreaked havoc on Earth. You then went to his   ║
  70. ECHO ║castle (FIFFY2.WAD) and got even! When he returned home a few months later, ║
  71. ECHO ║he was FURIOUS! Satan got so angry, he built a special school called Satan's║
  72. ECHO ║School of Warfare (WAR4.WAD). On his day off, you went in and slaughtered   ║
  73. ECHO ║the student body, as well as all of his staff. What you didn't know about   ║
  74. ECHO ║this school was that the students were being trained to go to your New York ║
  75. ECHO ║penthouse apartment on your break and destroy you like never before! Good   ║
  76. ECHO ║thing you were there early! Just think, if you didn't go there, you would be║
  77. ECHO ║DEAD now! No wife, no children (Hmmm), and worst of all, NO 90210! (Running ║
  78. ECHO ║gag. Was in another doc to another level.) You DO want to see the one where ║
  79. ECHO ║Brandon's girlfriends take him to Bob Barker to get... Well, you get the    ║
  80. ECHO ║picture! :)                                                                 ║
  81. ECHO ║   You hear the phone ring, and you hesitantly answer it. Colonel Sanders is║
  82. ECHO ║on the line. Oh boy, just what you need on your day off watching the O.J.   ║
  83. ECHO ║SIMPSON TRIAL! Sanders told you that Lucifer himself just bought his second ║
  84. ECHO ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

  88. ECHO ║home in Hell because you wrecked the first one. You shrug your sholders as  ║
  89. ECHO ║the TV cameramen accidently show the face of a juror. Sanders then told you ║
  90. ECHO ║that Satan is going to pay you a visit. You then wake your family, pack, and║
  91. ECHO ║go to MOTEL 6 to hide your family, as you go off to meet your fate, while   ║
  92. ECHO ║your family watches TV with 46 channels, all but 5 carrying the O.J. SIMPSON║
  93. ECHO ║TRIAL (That gives you more reasons to play DOOM, doesn't it?). You head to  ║
  94. ECHO ║a starirway that goes to Hell and find Satan nowhere, but you do find his   ║
  95. ECHO ║new home in Hell. Since you reflect back and remember that your family is   ║
  96. ECHO ║now safe in a motel, you decide to take the $.50 tour of his home, and do   ║
  97. ECHO ║what you've done last time, kick butt, and go on a rampage! You'll meet his ║
  98. ECHO ║bodyguard at the end, so don't say you were not warned! This is the time to ║
  99. ECHO ║get out your weponry and ask: "Who wants to be fried?" You go in, and you   ║
  100. ECHO ║fight for your life, and to free the world from havoc (for now).            ║

  105. ECHO ║MODES OF PLAY:                                                              ║
  106. ECHO ║ Single player and multi: You go through the castle kicking demon butt. In  ║
  107. ECHO ║ some places, it seems the demons definately have the upper hand, but know- ║
  108. ECHO ║ ing you and your fellow Doomheads, You'll pull through.                    ║
  109. ECHO ║                                                                            ║
  110. ECHO ║ Deathmatch: You and up to four Doomheads will start anywhere within the    ║
  111. ECHO ║ castle (there are quite a few starting points) and find each other to see  ║
  112. ECHO ║ who IS the greatest Doomhead of them all! Also note that it is likely that ║
  113. ECHO ║ that you and at LEAST one other Doomhead will start REoL close to one an-  ║
  114. ECHO ║ other! Keep an eye out, because you may only live a few seconds, LITTER-   ║
  115. ECHO ║ ALLY! This is also the place to test out the DRILL patch!                  ║

  120. ECHO ║                    PLAYING TIPS (in no particualr order):                  ║

  122. ECHO ║(1) When you hit the switch that lowers the floor you're standing on, you'll║
  123. ECHO ║    note that there are three doors with different torches for each. They   ║
  124. ECHO ║    mean something.                                                         ║
  125. ECHO ║                                                                            ║
  126. ECHO ║(2) When you get the ROCKET LAUNCHER (or FLAME THROWER if the patch was used║
  127. ECHO ║    to change the launcher), you'll meet "Satan's Bodyguard"! Note that     ║
  128. ECHO ║    there is virtually NO PLACE TO HIDE! Try it on ULTRA-VIOLENCE! (Ha, ha!)║
  129. ECHO ║                                                                            ║
  130. ECHO ║(3) Be carefull going through the blue key door! That door leads to another ║
  131. ECHO ║    one with DEMONS, IMPS, and LOST SOULS. Once that door behind you closes,║
  132. ECHO ║    there is NO WAY OUT! The only way out is through! Oh, Don't fall into   ║
  133. ECHO ║    the toxic waste pools. Once you're in, you can't get out! (Heh, Heh!)   ║
  134. ECHO ║                                                                            ║
  135. ECHO ║(4) If DOOM crashes, see what you can collect from insurance. (rimshot)     ║
